Battlefront is raising their prices.

Just got news today that Battlefront Miniatures will be raising the prices of their miniatures as of Aug. 9. I'm putting in a small order right now, but will be placing a large order before that date. So let me know if you would like anything before the price increase.

Hard news is never something that is easy to deliver but the time has come for us to tackle this topic. On Monday August 9th 2010 we will be increasing the prices on our Flames of War range.

Although time flies fast for all of us it has been over two years since we made our commitment to keep pricing fixed and in truth it could not have been a more costly promise to make! I am not going to repeat a long list of global issues that have made all our lives harder these past two years but I will say again that even with everything going on we kept our word and did not jump on the proverbial band wagon and raise prices, as everybody else did, but kept our long term goal in mind and focused on the future.

The price rise also allows us to tackle the ever widening gaps in currency around the world bringing the cost of a tank into parity globally to help protect your local market. This will strengthen your local currency and should have your customers coming back to you instead of shopping abroad.

It is not all bad news as there is no change to paper product, in fact we keep making those bigger and better for the same price, paint and the entire GF9 range. Please remember that we are still considered the best value hobby in the market by independent hobby review sites and will continue to focus on supporting a long term view with both our stores and our hobbyists.
